Terese Willis’ cliffhanger sequence in Neighbours reveals a behind-the-scenes truth.

Terese Willis was spotted barely clinging to the edge of the Lassiters roof as Neighbours finished 2021 on a dramatic cliffhanger.

If you’re curious about how that scene was shot, the Australian soap has provided a behind-the-scenes peek, which revealed that it required a green screen and a production member directing a fan at Rebekah Elmaloglou.

In the Instagram video, Rebekah teased, “It’s a big storyline… let’s put it this way, it’s a matter of life or death for Terese.”

Thankfully, the star did not have to dangle from a high structure. Instead, she rested her weight on a large box propped up at a more bearable angle.

It’ll be interesting to watch what happens next on the show and whether Terese makes it out alive.

What we do know is that Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) is unhappy at Harlow Robinson (Jemma Donovan) for not doing enough to help Terese in a 2022 first-look trailer.

After she insisted on providing Terese with the PI report on Glen Donnelly, Harlow was the only other person on the rooftop (Richard Huggett).

Surprisingly, the 2022 video ends with the words “Someone will die” clearly shown before depicting a funeral.

We don’t know who’s funeral it is, but we do see a violent storm wreaking havoc on Erinsborough, putting many of the town’s citizens in jeopardy.

When 10 Peach resumes on Monday, January 3, it won’t be long before the UK overtakes Australia, as the show wants to keep its four-episode weekly schedule.

Neighbours air on weekdays at 1.45 pm and 5.30 pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
