These spoilers for THE YOUNG & THE RESTLESS have tension building! Nikki confronts Kyle about his behavior, Lily worries that Heather may re-enter Daniel’s life, and Billy muses over a decision that would split the Abbott family apart.
Daniel restarted his relationship with Lily when he got back to Genoa City, and things were going very well until Heather returned and wanted to stay. Daniel tells Phyllis, “Having Heather in town is throwing me for a loop,” as Heather listens in from around the corner. Phyllis wonders aloud, “Sort of stirred up some old feelings?” with worry. Could the redhead be motivated to “help” in her own special way?
Lily, meantime, is concerned about Heather’s possible return and what it might imply for her and Daniel. Billy at Crimson Lights overhears Heather saying, “I have a hunch Heather regrets what went wrong with Daniel. Although Lily is his ex, Billy still considers her a friend and doesn’t want to see her suffer. And do you think Daniel might be drawn back to Heather?” he queries. After giving it some thought, Lily says, “It’s possible.” Does she have any options to address this?
Kyle is being scrutinized now since Nikki already met with Audra. Kyle wonders if he still has a job in light of the developments at Newman Media. “I’m not quite ready to talk about Newman Media,” Nikki says. I really prefer to discuss you and what in the world you’re doing with your life.
Billy was content to pretend to support Ashley in the family feud, but as things became worse, he began to wonder if Jack really trusted him totally and is now starting to see things from a different perspective. He tells Diane, “In my opinion, there’s only one person who’s going to go to great lengths to safeguard my family’s business, and you’re looking at him.” Billy has changed sides, choosing his own.
