In Neighbours, Levi (Richie Morris) has warmed up to the notion of polyamory with Amy (Jacinta Stapleton) and Ned (Ben Hall), but an unexpected guest is about to throw a wrench in the works.
This is significant since others, such as Sheila (Colette Mann), have attempted and failed to break up his modern connection. What can this newcomer offer Levi that will cause him to reconsider his position?
When Amy doesn’t pick either of them for the launch party, Ned and Levi are both irritated. They have no idea that Amy wants them both there and is unable to choose between them. When it’s all said and done.
They come up with a plan: they’ll go all out and attend as a trio. However, said spanner comes before they can put on their glad rags and go out the door.

When Evelyn (Paula Arundell) walks up unexpectedly, Levi’s jaw strikes the ground. She’s a staunch conservative, and he’s well aware that she won’t approve of the relationship. He also understands that, despite his age, he is still ruled by his mother. He creeps up to Amy, his tail between his legs, and tells her that their relationship must be put on hold before mummy dearest finds out and judges them all.
Sheila and Evelyn have some unresolved past conflict, which Sheila was unaware of until now, and the two ladies butt heads when the truth is revealed. Sheila wants to make apologies, but Evelyn appears to have a lot of water under the bridge.
Sheila first dismisses the situation as hopeless and chooses to give up, but when she observes Levi avoiding Amy while his mother is there, she decides to go to great lengths to persuade Evelyn to stay.
Levi is disappointed that he was unable to be a rock for Amy when her party goes awry, and he feels a sting when he sees Ned swooping in to provide a shoulder to weep on. Levi is now jittery. He has a sneaking suspicion that he is going to lose one of the finest things that has happened to him recently. He needs to make a choice.
Will he let the connection slide through his fingers, or will he give in to his impulses and jeopardise his mother’s relationship?
