ITV viewers believe they know why Chloe Harris from Emmerdale collapses this week before Mackenzie Boyd can call it quits on their relationship.
Fans of Emmerdale think they know what will happen to Chloe Harris, played by Jessie Elland, as she is taken to the hospital and Mackenzie Boyd, played by Lawrence Robb, tries to break things off with her.
Watchers of ITV will recall that during super soap stunt week, Chloe, Mack, and Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) were involved in a terrifying accident.
Mack had the choice to save Charity, his ex-wife, or Chloe’s mother at the time he managed to escape the collision.
Chloe fell off the cliff after he chose to take The Woolpack owner, and she was airlifted to the hospital where she was placed in an induced coma and told she didn’t “remember nothing.”
Fans believe this week’s plot is part of the mother-of-one’s revenge plot because it was later revealed that she remembered Mack choosing his ex-wife over her.
Mack and Charity will be trying to push their feelings for each other aside in later scenes.
But when the latter comes up with the brilliant plan to move from the village to Scotland, Mackenzie isn’t having any of it and chooses to lay down in front of her car, making it impossible for her to flee.
He then declares that he will leave Chloe to devote all of his attention to Charity, a proposal that the latter accepts the next day.
Mack has made up his mind to end his relationship with his child’s mother. She passes out in the kitchen, though, before he can reveal the truth to her.
Charity looks on in shock as Chloe is taken to a hospital and questions whether Mack had an opportunity to break up with her before she passed out.
Mack promises to be there for Chloe no matter what, and he will ride with her in the ambulance.
Nonetheless, a lot of people on social media think that Chloe and Mack are just having fun and that the fainting might not be as serious as it initially appears.
“As far as I know Chloe isn’t leaving,” a user on X commented.
Although she doesn’t pass away, Mac is scared to stay. Another one said, “She’s got her claws well into him.”
“Again, second attempt, just tell her if ’emm don’t want her ffs,” said someone else. As in
“She will persist in obstructing Charity and Mackenzie’s reconciliation for the remainder of the year… A fourth person remarked, “No doubt she’ll also fake a few “funny turns” to try and get Mackenzie to stay with her too.
A fifth said: “If they were going to kill Chloe off they’d have done it with the car crash… she’ll be a thorn in his side for years to come hopefully, on or off screen, he’s a p**t.” (sic)
However, not everyone is impressed with the upcoming storyline.
One X user said: “Same old recycled stories of betrayal.”
A third replied: “Can the Mack/Charity/Chloe triangle end please, I swear a story has NEVER gone on this long… I’m so beyond over it.”
