According to new Home and Away spoilers, Roo Stewart will have to make a difficult decision in the coming weeks as she tries to come to grips with her mother’s failing health.
According to TV Guide, Roo will be caught aback by her mother Martha’s choice to refuse the offer of a kidney transplant in scenes that will air in the UK next month.
Roo (Georgie Parker) asks Dr Logan (Harley Bonner) to check in with her mother’s medical team in Merimbula, after her mother moved there from Summer Bay after refusing Roo’s offer of a new kidney.
To Roo’s amazement, Dr Logan reveals that time is running out and Martha’s condition has significantly worsened. Roo confronts her father after being taken aback by Alf’s (Ray Meagher) unwillingness to disclose the truth regarding Martha’s condition.
Alf confesses to her that he is terrified of losing his wife, and that telling Roo the truth would have confirmed his anxieties.
Later, Roo can’t help but wallow in her grief over her mother’s approaching death, and she finds it difficult to let go of her anger and rage.
Can Roo forgive Martha before it’s too late, with time running out?
