Home and Away‘s afternoon showing on Channel 5 is switching times, the channel has confirmed today.
Starting on Monday, October 30th, Channel 5 will begin broadcasting Home and Away at 1pm on weekdays instead of its current time slot of 1:45pm.
This is because Channel 5 has a double bill of Christmas films set for every weekday starting at 1:30 p.m., bringing them into the holiday spirit early.
This alteration will remain in effect until Friday, November 17, the UK series finale, when the programme kicks off its yearly winter break.
Channel 5 has confirmed that the show will return to its usual 1:45pm slot when we head back to Summer Bay in early 2024.
The times on 5STAR remain unchanged, with an evening airing at 6pm and the ‘first look’ straight after at 6:30pm. The show is also available to stream on My5.
Ray Meagher, aka Alf Stewart, has all the details:

The past year has been very eventful for the two of them. They were involved in an accident during Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) and Tane’s (Ethan Browne) wedding, Justin’s court case and subsequent community service, the reappearance of Ava (Annabel Wolfe), and their most recent plot involving Andrew and the Vita Nova cult.
They think a lavish vacation will be the perfect way to unwind and heal, but they had no idea that it will put their lives in danger once more.
Home and Away will be back in its usual Channel 5 slot of 1:45pm weekdays when the show returns in 2024.
