Fans would concur with the General Hospital (GH) spoilers that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) deserves to be happy. She has experienced a lot, including losing her newborn son Liam Corbin and then her husband Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), not to mention her drug addiction and everything that Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and Dr. Damon Montague/Dr. Monty (Darin Toonder) have recently done to her. But are viewers beginning to see a way out, or will she continue to suffer through more upheaval in the future?
GH Spoilers: Sasha Gilmore Is Free Of Ferncliff, For Now
According to GH spoilers, Sasha will struggle in the coming week to detox from the drugs that were administered to her during her stay at Ferncliff. She is struggling in a cabin in the middle of nowhere thanks to Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), with a lot of assistance from Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), but at least she is far away from Dr. Monty and Gladys.
All things considered, the plan Cody and Sam devised appears to be succeeding; however, could a mistake throw everything off course?
GH Spoilers: The Gladys Corbin Factor
Who could blame Gladys for continuing to manipulate the situation? If the “truth” is revealed, she risks losing everything. As difficult as detoxing in a safe environment is right now for Sasha, it’s still much better than being at Ferncliff.
Gladys is the kind of person who always finds themselves in the “right place at the right time,” so it’s difficult to see how she could end up ruining things for Sasha. Ms. Gilmore might be taken back to Ferncliff if she learns where Sasha is being held, and Cody would go straight to jail. However, on social media, fans have been very vocal about this plot, so hopefully Executive Producer Frank Valentini has been paying attention. Even though this storyline has received a lot of attention, it has been difficult to watch, especially for viewers who have experienced mental health issues or have watched friends, family, or loved ones go through this.
The best course of action is probably to take the audience’s lead and wrap everything up while also preparing Sasha and Cody for a romantic relationship.
