Spoilers and news for General Hospital tease Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will carry out a strategy. They intend to set up a trap for Bonnie Burroughs’ character Gladys Corbin so that she will admit to using Sasha for financial gain.
General Hospital Spoilers: Both Gladys Corbin And Damon Montague Need To Go Down
When Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder) visited Ferncliff and discovered Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) in Sasha’s room getting ready to flee with her, Cody Bell (Darin Toonder) put everything together. Sasha struggled to believe that her mother-in-law, whom she believed to be in love with her, had been working with Montague to keep her in guardianship. Gladys would then be able to continue losing her money at the casino knowing that she had the attention of both Montague and Selina Wu (Lydia Look) at this point. They both need to be killed, but in order to have Montague arrested and censured by the medical board, they need Gladys to confess on camera.
This may be a good time to do it—offering police protection if she testifies, but getting her to confess first—with Wu making threats and Gladys fleeing in fear.
GH Spoilers: They Set Up Their Plan
Since they need to get Gladys to confess without sounding coercive or gathering unauthorized evidence, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is also involved.
There are some things they can do, like set up recording devices, but if Gladys is unaware that she is being recorded, the evidence will be excluded from the case.
If Gladys is willing to give a testimony in court about what she knows about the poker game, Dante can also assist in protecting her. But before Sasha and Sam can start negotiating, Gladys must give up her guardianship of her. It will also require a different psychiatrist to examine Sasha, this time away from Ferncliff.
General Hospital Spoilers: The Plan Begins
Dante is in charge of the covert recorders, which he acquired as a result of Mac Scorpio’s (John J. York) investigation into the poker club, which was abruptly shut down. Gladys, Montague, and Cody were all involved, and since Cody was involved, he will also need some sort of deal. Mac is aiming for Selina, the big fish, and hopes to secure testimony from Gladys and Cody. Montague may be challenging, but Cody will testify for sure. Gladys must confess to conspiring with Montague to keep Sasha under guardianship and be prepared to give up the guardianship in exchange for testifying against Selina. Gladys, in a panic, is confronted by Sasha. Dante obtained the warrants, ensuring that anything she says that is recorded will be admissible in court.
