Emmerdale spoilers: Is this the moment Meena is apprehended and charged with Andrea’s murder?

After killing Andrea Tate (Anna Nightingale), Meena Jutla (Paige Sandhu) believes she got away with murder once more, but the Emmerdale assassin could be in for a rude awakening when she is questioned by the police about the event.

Andrea died tragically during the ITV soap’s survival week after witnessing Meena trying to drown Victoria Barton (Isabel Hodgins).

Andrea acknowledged what she witnessed before fleeing into the maze, hoping to escape the clutches of the mad attacker when Meena approached her about it.

But it was not to be, as Meena followed her like prey before crashing her head off the stairwell and abandoning her to die in the burning maze.

In regards to her surviving the event, Ben Tucker (Simon Lennon) commented, ‘You had a lucky escape.’ ‘I always do,’ Meena answered, clearly referring to her spotless track record of successfully escaping with murder.

However, her luck may be running out, as she is dragged in for questioning in the above clip from Wednesday’s (October 27) episode of the ITV soap.

In the excerpt, Meena is overjoyed to learn that Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) and Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) had a laugh during the survival challenge.

Her mood swiftly changes when DS Rogers approaches her, however.

‘Ms. Jutla,’ he says. ‘Can we have a chat please?’

‘I just want to clarify a few things about what happened in the fire.’

Meena is rendered speechless. Is her game finally up?

Meena had previously informed the authorities that she ventured into the maze after witnessing it on fire in the hopes of rescuing those trapped inside.

But are the cracks in her story beginning to show?

Emmerdale airs these scenes Wednesday, October 27 at 7 pm on ITV.
