Gray Atkins has been trying to keep his cool in EastEnders as he balances his workload after he decided to help Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty)—a decision that eventually cost him his job but he grows tired of someone questioning him about the case of a young woman in the coming episodes, but will his temper get the better of him again? Gray has come under immense pressure to defend Whitney because he thinks he’s now Walford’s regular lawyer.
The burden of such a thing caused him to lose his job because he was unable to secure bail for the young woman. However, it was hellbent to prove to his firm that he deserved another shot, and it was that same determination that led him to find the evidence he needed to get Whitney out of prison.
Pressure continues in the coming episodes as he tries to prepare for the case, but Michaela’s (Fiona Allen) presence in Walford has become a concern he didn’t expect. When Whitney worries about Leo’s (Tom Wells) mom, Gray gets tired of everyone badgering him.
Despite things having only recently been looking up, the solicitor has once again found himself in a tough situation, because Michaela might ruin everything. What’s more, with the heavy burden of becoming Walford’s number one lawyer once again weighing on his moral conscience, one can’t help but wonder if he’s going to explode with frustration when someone questions him?
