Sharon Watts of EastEnders revealed that Keanu Taylor is not Albie’s biological father, which was a major surprise.
The BBC soap opera Sharon (Letitia Dean) was still concerned on Wednesday’s (November 15) episode when she got a call from the hospital asking for an urgent meeting to go over Albie’s test results. When Keanu (Danny Walters) arrived at the hospital late, Sharon made the decision to begin the doctor’s visit.
She was informed that Albie may be predisposed to lung and liver diseases in the future due to a rare genetic condition known as Alpha-1-antitrypsin deficiency (AATD). The doctor informed Sharon that it wasn’t anything significant despite the risk, pointing out that many people with AATD are unaware that they have the condition.
He continued by explaining that both parents need to be gene carriers for a child to have AATD. Sharon decided that she and Keanu would take the test to find out additional information, assuming they both had the gene.
The results showed that Keanu does not have the gene, but Sharon does, according to the doctor. Keanu was happily oblivious to what the doctor was hinting at because he had missed the earlier appointment.
Sharon carried on talking with the doctor, suggesting Keanu get out of the room. When the doctor revealed that Keanu is not Albie’s biological father, Sharon’s entire world collapsed.
Sharon looked out the window when asked if anyone else was around when she became pregnant. Sharon realized her ex is probably Albie’s biological father, and Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) was standing outside with Keanu and Albie.
