Regarding his oldest son and his ideal football career, Simon Gregson sent his fans a heartfelt update.
The Coronation Street star shared a picture of his kid Alfie sitting on a football outdoors and glued to his phone on Instagram.
Simon wrote: “My boy since 4 yrs old dreaming of playing football for a living plays for three teams trains every day and night and no one has seen him my heart breaks every day.” (sic)
Immediately after, a large number of his 137K followers came to the comments area to provide Simon some encouragement.
“Ian Wright wasn’t spotted until he was 21,” an admirer retorted. Never give up on your dreams.”

“I feel the same as you,” said the second person. It’s really difficult to get scouted these days, but my 17-year-old son is very gifted. He plays for two teams, trains, runs, and visits the gym to maintain his fitness levels. my best wishes for your boy X. (sic)
“My Nephew was signed at 16 and dropped at 18, he still plays semi-pro,” a third person commented. They seem to be struggling, especially at such an early age. (sic)
A fourth commented, saying, “Until then, I really hope he’s enjoying every second of the process. He’ll be recognised for his skills and talent, no doubt.” Because that’s the important thing XX.”
