Anti-vaxxer actress Isabel Lucas urges fans to join her as she attends anti-5G protest in Byron Bay

Isabel Lucas, who starred in the TV show Home and Away, has invited fans to join her at an anti-5G demonstration in Byron Bay.

On Tuesday, the 36-year-old posted on Instagram to promote the protest, which would start in Suffolk Park and end near the proposed site of a 5G tower.

‘I’d want to express my gratitude to the Byron Bay community. ‘Please come join us,’ she wrote.

Strange new conspiracy theories have been circulating on social media recently, alleging that 5G ’causes coronavirus’ by’sucking oxygen out of your lungs.’

Medical and technological specialists have both refuted these claims.

Isabel has been involved in activism since 2007, when she and fellow actress Hayden Panettiere joined campaigners on surfboards to try to save a pod of dolphins from being murdered in Japan.

After paddling over nets to save dolphins and whales from being slaughtered in the hamlet of Taiji, the group was charged with ‘interfering with international commerce.’

‘I’m not afraid in the least about going back there [to Japan],’ Isabel remarked at the time. In fact, I believe it would now bring much more attention to the heinous crime.’

Later that year, Isabel stated that the warrant had not discouraged her from going to Japan the following year.

Isabel made news last year after posting hazardous anti-vaccination beliefs on Instagram in response to a post by fellow conspiracy theorist Pete Evans.

‘Freedom of choice is every human’s right,’ she said in defence of the disgraced former MKR judge. ‘Vaccination is a route I don’t trust.’

‘Vaccines aren’t required, just a strong immune system,’ said surfer Taj Burrow.

Anti-vaxxers promote conspiracies that aren’t based on scientific evidence.

They say that by ‘raising’ the immune system with food, vitamins, and sunshine, people may become resistant to certain diseases, which is absolutely untrue.

The coronavirus vaccination is an important step in protecting the community against the virus’s spread.

Covid-19 has the potential to cause significant sickness, long-term health issues, and even death.

In Australia, the Pfizer vaccine is in low availability, and it is not currently accessible to anyone under the age of 40.

Instead, because the government is prioritising Pfizer vaccines for those aged 40 to 60, younger Australians may receive the plentiful AstraZeneca vaccine through their GPs.
