According to previews for The Young and the Restless, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is aware that she has a lot to make up for.
Her children are directly involved in her quest to atonement.
When Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) found out that Phyllis was allegedly dead, he was just as devastated as his sister. However, Daniel was harmed by Phyllis’ decision to inform Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier) that she was still alive.
Summer’s life was hurt much more than Daniel’s, though, because Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) determined their marriage would end as a result of his wife’s deceit.
There is some debate as to whether Phyllis’ actions caused the divorce.
Visiting Heather Stevens and Lucy Romalotti in Portugal: Young and the Restless Spoilers
Prior to going off the rails and getting involved with Jeremy Stark (James Hyde), Phyllis traveled to Portugal. She had plans to meet with Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) and Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom).
The good intentions of Phyllis led Heather to bring Lucy to Genoa City, Wisconsin, where she and Daniel could make up.
In addition to alienating his daughter and Heather, Daniel acknowledged that he entered a dark place.
Phyllis never received the recognition she deserved from Heather and Daniel. But the reconciliation of that estranged trio was brought about by Stafford’s persona.

While Kyle’s animosity was reasonable, Summer eventually realized that Phyllis was not to blame for what he decided to do with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
Kyle acted impulsively and selfishly. Because of his immaturity, he thought separation, infidelity, and divorce were all acceptable.
To keep her life on track, Summer needs her mother’s counsel. Hopefully, in time, Lanier’s persona will understand that Phyllis was utterly out of sorts and deserves pardon.

For many people, Phyllis is many different things. Danny Romalotti (Micheal Damian), one of her favorites, is scheduled to visit GC again in September.
The part Danny plays in assisting Daniel in giving his mother a respite will therefore be interesting to see. It has never really been contested that Phyllis possesses maternal instincts.
Daniel owes his mother respect, just like Summer does, and needs to adopt that attitude again right away.
The character of Stafford is renowned for her comebacks. She is prepared to emerge from the ashes once more, just like the Grand Phoenix Hotel, which has a suitable name.
This will be one of the more difficult tries because Phyllis broke her kids’ hearts on Y&R, which made them understandably suspicious of her intentions.
