Following the shocking abduction of Nugget Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) the previous week, tensions are running high between Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) and the Panesars in EastEnders.
After a second night went by without Nugget returning home, Ravi and Nish (Navin Chowdhry) felt it was time to call the police, but they remained silent on the real cause of his disappearance.
When Nugget discovered that his father had slain his granddad, something Ravi undoubtedly didn’t want the police to know, Nugget ran away from Albert Square.
He soon realized that Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal), who had heard from Nugget, was not the only one concealing a secret.
Her grandson said he wouldn’t contact her again if she told anyone she had spoken to him, leaving her unsure of what to do after hearing that Nugget was safe.
After the call, she privately confided in her new friend Denise Fox (Diane Parish), telling her all Nugget had said and seeking her opinion.
Denise counseled Suki to remain silent and let Ravi suffer in return for the suffering he had caused them both while she was aware that Nugget was completely safe.
She argued that since Nugget had already shown her faith and was likely to do so again, they might as well make Ravi suffer for a bit.
Ravi, who was obviously distraught by his son’s absence, approached Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) and demanded information about his whereabouts.
When Ravi refused to accept responsibility for his part in Nugget’s absence, claiming that Nugget was afraid of his dad, Denzel argued that he didn’t know and became irate.
When Ravi realized Suki had seen the entire altercation, he made a terrifying threat: “If anything happens to him Suki, I swear your life will not be worth living.” As Denzel walked off, Ravi realized Suki had seen the entire conflict.
But Suki wouldn’t give in and vowed that Ravi would suffer “for the rest of his life.”
Will Suki be honest about Nugget’s whereabouts, or will Ravi never learn where Nugget is, leaving him scared that his son might be in grave danger?
