Pia Miller sets the record straight on her Home And Away return after THAT notable visit to the Summer Bay set
There have been numerous characters in the history of Home And Away who have come and gone.
But few have left a vacuum in the hearts of fans as deep as that of Kat Chapman, Pia Miller’s character.
From 2015 to 2017, when her character and her unborn child were killed by newcomer Jasmine (Sam Frost) in a car crash, the Chilean-born model played the fictitious policeman.
Despite being killed off, from the moment she departed, fans were crying out for Kat to return to Summer Bay.
Last month, Pia sparked a frenzy among fans when she shared not one but two Palm Beach images where Home And Away is famously filmed.
“Hi again,” she captioned the first shot cheekily.
“She then shared a second picture of herself in front of a camera on the sand, further adding fuel to the frantic fire by captioning:” For the first time in months, back on set today.
But unfortunately, it seems as if Pia’s return to Palm Beach was not connected to her past at Summer Bay.
During an Instagram QandA, the mother-of-two actually announced that she’s not planning to return to the show any time soon, if ever.
Sob!-Sob!
A loyal fan asked Pia: “Do you miss playing Kat?” To which she answered sadly: “Many questions about Kat! I always enjoyed playing Kat. I have wonderful memories of my time on H&A, I loved it, but I didn’t come back.”
Perhaps it is the optimist in us who hopes Pia is only throwing us off the trail of what will be one of the most surprising returns of all time to Home And Away.
Or, maybe, it’s time for us to finally let the beloved Kat Chapman rest in peace … We know what we would want.
