A new Home and Away promo shows that Tane will kiss Harper in upcoming episodes, as the aftermath of his and Felicity’s breakup continues.
The preview, which you can view below the article, features Summer Bay locals getting ready for the “Salt by the Sea” event that Xander (Luke Van Os) is organizing to generate money for research on spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD).
By the end of 2023, Mackenzie (Emily Weir) was suffering from a rare and poorly understood disease, and her life was only spared by the work of new cardiothoracic surgeon Levi Fowler (Tristan Gorey).
The teaser shows Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) making her way down the Salt stairs, to the surprise of her estranged husband Tane (Ethan Browne), who appears to be in awe of her beauty.
After Felicity agreed to try for a baby with Tane, the couple parted ways in the latter part of last year when Tane found out she was still using her birth control pill. Felicity tried her hardest to persuade her husband to forget her, but Tane was adamant that their relationship was ended.
In the 2023 Season Finale, Tane and Felicity had a brief moment together, but Tane had to break the news to her that just because he loved her, they couldn’t be together.
He’s seen with an outstretched arm, clearly hoping that he and Felicity would enter the event together despite their breakup.
However, Felicity doesn’t want to confuse things, and as she gives him a strange look, he quickly pulls his arm away and gestures for her to go ahead of him.
Although the teaser suggests that Tane and Felicity would like to have a friendly relationship, it quickly becomes apparent that a reconciliation is unlikely.
Later in the teaser, we see Tane strolling by the Surf Club with Summer Bay newcomer Harper Matheson (Jessica Redmayne), smiling and joking while Felicity looks on in disbelief.
Soon after Harper and Tane parted ways, Flick started to feel envious of Harper as the newcomer was spending a lot more time with Tane. Although Harper reassured Felicity that she wasn’t after her ex, it appears Felicity’s jealousy wasn’t entirely unjustified.
In another scene from the teaser, Tane kisses Harper as they hang out on the beach following one of their all-too-frequent physical therapy sessions.
Harper pulls away with a confused “what are you doing?”, before storming off and away from the beach.
With Tane seeming determined not to forgive Felicity for her deception, is a future romance for Tane and Harper on the cards?
The new 2024 video teases more than just Tane and Harper’s possible romance.
Mackenzie Booth (Emily Weir) is expected to fall in love with Dr. Levi this year, as we just covered in an article.
“Can you just tell me, what is it going to take to get you to come with me?” Levi asks Mackenzie, as he tries to convince her to leave Northern Districts Hospital and attend Xander’s fundraising event.
While Mac is touched by Xander’s event, she’s terrified of leaving hospital after suffering two medical emergencies within weeks of each other. Levi, however, is determined to get her over her fears and back on her feet.
“I can offer a handsome cardiothoracic surgeon,” he adds.
“Wow, handsome? I look forward to meeting him,” Mackenzie quips, before we see the pair suited and booted as the glitzy event, which is being held on the grassy area outside the Surf Club.
Mackenzie is all smiles as she and Levi walk through the archway and into the event, where the guests are on their feet to give her a standing ovation.
Levi later gives a speech honouring Mackenzie, telling the guests that “Mackenzie’s life is more than a number.”
In later scenes, Mackenzie and Levi will be seen hanging out at the farmhouse before Levi gives her a quick kiss.
Since moving to Summer Bay in 2019, Mackenzie has experienced a string of terrible romances; perhaps Levi will mark the end of her bad luck.

Additionally, the teaser teases that Remi (Adam Rowland) will awaken from his previous nightmare at the hands of Mickey (Travis Jeffery) and Wes (Josh McConville), who pushed him off his motorcycle before trying to bury him.
We see Remi still unconscious in hospital, with Kirby (Angelina Thomson) assuring Bree (Juliet Godwin) that “he’s here now, he’s safe.”
The beeping of a machine then signals that something has changed, as Remi awakes, startled.
We then see Bree at her boyfriend’s side, delighted as she welcomes him back.
Fans of Bree and Remi shouldn’t feel too comfortable, though, as it appears that another man will compete with Bree for her attention in the upcoming months.
The possibility that Bree and Remi’s breakup is only months away has been raised by a show fan who witnessed Juliet Godwin, who plays Bree, kissing another actor during recent Palm Beach filming.
Mahesh Jadu, an actor from Perth who previously portrayed Ahmad in the Netflix series Marco Polo and Dr. Doug Harris, a recurrent character on Neighbours between 2010 and 2011, is thought to be playing the character as of yet unidentified.
