Inquiring into their previous sex life, particularly their golden number, is usually a risky topic for new couples. When one person admits they’ve slept with half the town while the other is essentially a virgin, it may be make or break for some. That conversation is going to happen on Neighbours, and it will be disastrous for Toadie (Ryan Moloney).
In Neighbours, Susan (Jackie Woodburne) uncovers a major problem for Toadie and Mel (Lucinda Cowden) when researching into Mel’s history.
When Toadie found Mel had curiously deleted several of her most significant prior jobs from her CV, it raised a lot of issues. Susan, on the other hand, does pull at that thread, and she discovers a surprising discovery.
She seeks down Mel’s previous employer, Dr. Anna Burke, who reveals the shocking truth about Mel’s romance with a prior boss, which has ruined her career. Things start to fall into place, leaving Susan with a dilemma: should she inform Toadie and spoil the first nice thing he’s had since Sonya?
Mackenzie (Georgie Stone) has no idea what’s going on, so she resolves to help Mel out by emailing potential employers behind Mel’s back, using the résumé she’d thrown away. There was a reason she’d tossed it out. Dr. Anna Buke unexpectedly approaches Mel in public after the worms have been fired out of the can like a cannon and are showering down everywhere. Toadie is on the verge of learning the truth about his girlfriend’s history.
Toadie is astounded by Mel’s shady history and her ability to keep it hidden from him, but Melanie is adamant in her refusal to reveal the details of her naughty affair with Justin. She’s not going to squander the finest opportunity she’s had in a long time.
Toadie, on the other hand, is insistent that he must know, and Melanie is forced to confess. They had no idea that, due to Mackenzie, things are going to get a whole lot worse.
Toadie is going to uncover the entire scope of Mel’s love past once Mackenzie discovers some even larger secrets. It’s a lot for him to process, and the concealment has harmed him greatly. I’m attempting to contain the damage.
Toadie is beginning to feel he’s just another number, despite Mel’s assurances that their relationship is the finest she’s ever had. Has her seductive past destroyed their happy future?
