Mick Carter’s heartbreak in EastEnders as he learns of Linda’s death?

FAVORITES OF EASTENDERS Mick and Linda Carter appear to have broken up for real, with the latter reverting to drinking and abandoning her family. But, if she doesn’t show up next week, might there be a more serious reason?

Mick (Danny Dyer) had hoped to mend fences with Linda (Kellie Bright), but the EastEnders landlady has made it obvious that she does not want to return to the family. On the BBC serial, Mick has been struggling to adjust to life without his wife, and his hopes are raised when Linda agrees to meet their little son, Ollie (Harry Farr). Could she have been killed off-screen when she doesn’t show up?

Nancy Carter (Maddy Hill) tries to persuade her father to quit whining about Linda in upcoming scenes.

She begs him to invite her to a family game night, which Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) reluctantly accepts.

Nancy snubs her angrily, insisting on keeping it in the family.

Ollie is irritated that Linda isn’t present as the Carters play Monopoly.

When Mick says he’s taking Ollie to see Linda, Nancy,

and Janine object, Rocky (Brian Conley), Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths), and Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) urge him to go.

Regrettably, Mick and Ollie return later, dismayed that Linda had let them down.

As Rocky, Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker), Harvey, Mitch, and Mick drown their sorrows, Janine tries to persuade Mick to let Linda go and move on.

Janine is secretly relieved that the scheme failed, but she is terrified when Mitch proposes the men meet some females at Ruby’s. Janine tries unsuccessfully to stop Mick from dating again, and later, Peter Beale (Dayle Hudson) prepares the guys with a gym workout.

They arrive at Ruby’s, but Harvey leaves before the party begins.

Nancy notices Janine attempting to leave work early to go to Ruby’s and intervenes, while the others sense something strange about Mick’s date, Angela.

Shirley Carter (Linda Henry) is enraged at Mick for forgetting Ollie’s school project at home.

Nancy tries to console him, but he responds by lashing out at her as well.

Later, he suffers from a hangover, and Shirley makes it obvious that he will not be forgiven.

Rocky urges The Vic landlord to take up boxing, but he refuses.

After seeing Rocky’s boxing gloves, Janine devises a scheme to help Ollie with his school project fundraiser.

Later, Mick discovers that Janine organized a charity boxing match and is delighted when Nancy notices them.

Mick may forget about Linda not showing up to their outing as he grows closer to Janine.

Is it possible, though, that something awful has occurred?

It’s conceivable Linda died off-screen after Janine ruthlessly encouraged her to resort to a dangerous lifestyle.

She couldn’t stop drinking the last time she was on the show, and she self-destructed by rejecting her family.

It’s conceivable Linda died away from the screen, and because Mick was preoccupied with Janine, he didn’t bother to investigate why she didn’t show up, presuming she was inebriated or had changed her mind.

Sharon Watts’ worst nightmare when Alyssa is kidnapped in EastEnders?
Is it possible that the family will be torn apart as soon as they learn the dreadful news?

Since their arrival in the Square in 2013, Mick and Linda have been popular EastEnders pair.

Linda left Walford because actress Kellie went on maternity leave, but Danny Dyer has since stated that he will be leaving the show permanently.

Is it possible that his departure has something to do with Linda’s premature death?
