Legacies bring back Home and Away star as The Originals character

Another character crossover has occurred in the Vampire Diaries TV universe, as a fan-favorite character from The Originals has recently debuted on Legacies.

Aurora de Martel has been on the phone with Hope Mikaelson, according to the most recent episode of the franchise’s spin-off. The actress from Home and Away greets Hope with a wonderful introduction, informing her that she is her “father’s sweetheart and his greatest enemy, the target of his art, longing, and depthless scorn.”

She’s out for revenge, and with Hope’s father Klaus out of the picture, the daughter will have to do.

“Repairing the sort of damage I have experienced at the hands of your father is not so simple,” she says. “Klaus destroyed my life, my very sanity, over the course of centuries. So can you imagine my disappointment when I was woken up and learned that he had taken the cowards’ way out for you?”

Hope is first unconvinced by Aurora’s strategy and defeats her in combat. Aurora then exposes her nefarious scheme: she intends to exchange bodies with Hope, which she succeeds in doing. She also says that she wanted Hope to assassinate the other Triad members.

Hope flees the scene because she is out of her depth. Is she going to be able to fight Aurora and reclaim her body? Yes, but the question is how she will accomplish this.

Between 2008 and 2012, Rebecca Breeds played Ruby Buckton on Home and Away, Nicole Gordon on Pretty Little Liars for a half-dozen episodes, and the starring role of Clarice Starling in the prequel series Clarice.
