In Emmerdale, Victoria Sugden (played by Isabel Hodgins) and Jacob Gallagher (Joe Warren-Plant) have been having a covert relationship for several weeks.
Though he views Jacob as a stepson, she is attempting to conceal it from her former partner David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden).
Even though Victoria and David are no longer together, if he ever learns of her and Jacob’s romance, he will undoubtedly be devastated.
ITV soap opera teasers have disclosed Interrupting Jacob’s conversation about Eric Pollard’s (Chris Chittell) health and failing to notice the sparks between Victoria and Jacob show how unaware he is of the secrets all around him.
Although Victoria and Jacob have been clearly chemistry-filled for weeks, they are attempting to hide everything.
Later on, Pollard is persuaded to join Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) for a conversation and a round of golf outside of the village.
Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi), Jacob’s mother, learns that her son has a new girlfriend in the meantime.
When will she come to understand that Victoria, the woman he used to view as his stepmother, is his new love interest?
During a September appearance on This Morning, actor Matthew David talked candidly about leaving the ITV soap opera.
“I am so nervous about leaving, nearly 20 years, nearly two decades,” he said in his explanation.
“It seems like the right moment to leave the door open; I’ve been assured that they won’t kill me. Who knows, maybe I’ll return [later on]. Yes, but let’s wait and see.
When he learns of Jacob and Victoria’s romance, will he depart?
