Bex Fowler (Jasmine Armfield) made plans in recent scenes on EastEnders to leave Walford to travel and leave the Square's baggage behind. During her time on the soap, Bex has been involved in some pretty tough stories, including a suicide attempt, bullying, and pill use, so it's no wonder she's keen on a fresh start. Mum Sonia (Natalie Cassidy) wasn't happy enough, though, and even resorted to keeping the passport of her daughter in a bid to keep her around Will Bex say good-bye to Walford, or will she eventually choose to stay with her family?
Indeed Actor Jasmine has confirmed earlier that after playing Bex for five years, she is leaving the show. She shot her final scenes earlier this year, meaning that now it can't be too long before she leaves the Square. Bex's departure storyline was announced in February to be based around her decision to go on a year-long voyage.

On the subject of her exit, Jasmine said: 'I had such a great time playing Bex Fowler and enjoyed being part of EastEnders, so now it seems like the best time to try something new.' Jon Sen, an Executive Producer, said: 'Working with Jasmine has been an absolute pleasure. She's added something incredibly special to Bex's job, and we're all going to miss her-both as a friend and colleague. We wish her all the best for the future.'
