Home and Away star Ada Nicodemou teases Leah’s role in shock death story

Leah Patterson, the beloved of Home and Away, became a suspect on UK screens next week after fisherman uncovered Susie McAllister’s body in the sea.

Leah’s been frantically attempting to find down Susie over the last few months, who ruthlessly made her life saving runner out of Summer Bay.

Leah is on his list of probable perpetrators along with her boyfriend Justin Morgan as the new Cash Newman (Nicholas Cartwright) police officer monitors the investigation (James Stewart). Even Leah begins to question whether Justin may be guilty as time goes by.

Here the drama is tinged by Ada Nicodemou – he is playing Leah.

We saw that Leah dedicated her whole time recently on tracking Susie. How have you played this story?

“It’s good to note that the news isn’t about sadness but rather about justice, and to make Susie liable for the agony caused by Leah and Justin and the residents of the Summer Bay.”

The relationship between Leah and Justin was pushed into disruption, particularly because Justin is a painkiller addict. Was it a challenge?

“Not in a terrific space at all are Leah and Justin. They are both sad, but somewhat otherwise. Leah is willing to find justice, so she tries to bring down Susie.

“Leah and Justin just don’t look at each other and they truly don’t have an ally. Leah needed assistance and found it to be one of Susie’s other victims, Stephen, while Justin suppresses his feelings through addiction.

“The story for us was a pretty difficult one, but also very pleasing because Jimmy did such a wonderful job and pushed both of us hard, and it would be highly emotional and catastrophic for the viewers.”

When she finds out that Susie washed up her corpse in the Bay, what’s Lea’s initial response?

“Shock and destruction. Although Susie caused Leah and Justin a lot of sorrow, she wished Susie would go to jail. So some kind of justice was in place. Still, Leah wouldn’t want someone like that to be harmed.”

How does Leah feel as she is being questioned by the new police officer Cash?

“At this moment, Leah is quite frightened and vulnerable. She’s just been through a hard time and, above all else, it’s incomprehensible that she might be suspect in a murder case, losing all of her money and making her relationship worse.”

Does Leah suspect the other inhabitants with a killer wandering free in the Bay?

“Leah is still in shock at first because of what happened to Susie so that she doesn’t think about who it may be. She clearly feared that an assassin walked among them and wanted the police to know who was doing it.

“Still, Leah’s trust in the innocence of Justin steadily chips away when Stephen questions with Leah over Justin’s involvement. She is sitting down and really thinking about what Justin has done recently and if he can.”

For Justin and Leah’s relation, it sounds like it will be a long way to recovery…

“Yes, Leah and Justin will find it extremely tough. Justin damaged Leah’s confidence and was wrong — she gave him so many opportunities. He was wrong.

“Leah no longer has any connection to him and, unfortunately, she also has doubts about his being the killer or not, so they find it very difficult to get from that.”

How did Bren Foster work with Leah’s new buddy Stephen? How did he work?

“It was so much fun for Bren! We’re getting on quite good. He’s simply such a lovely family man and we talked so much to each other about bringing my son into the martial arts.

“Bren linked me on Instagram to Erika Jayne from Beverly Hills’ Royal Housewives. Bren had her give me a video message, and I fucked quite a little because I’m a show lover.”
