After losing sensation in her legs and suffering organ failure as a result of the chemical attack, Marilyn (Emily Symons) was brought to the hospital and placed in an induced coma. Logan (Harley Bonner) is perplexed as to what is causing Marilyn’s condition, and Mackenzie (Emily Weir) asks him what he would do if the situation wasn’t so mysterious.
Logan chooses to rouse Marilyn up, based on Mackenzie’s counsel, and she awakens – but the sensation in her legs hasn’t returned. Marilyn invites Alf (Ray Meagher) to visit Martha (Belinda Giblin), but when John (Shane Withington) and Irene (Lynne McGranger) enter, Marilyn scolds John and tells him to go right away.
Marilyn’s unusual behavior perplexes Logan, who asks John in the corridor, “I thought you and Marilyn were on good terms?” John, perplexed, confirms that he had the same thought…
Logan is taken aback the next morning when he discovers Marilyn has left the hospital. Meanwhile, Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) and Dean (Patrick O’Connor) are taken aback when Marilyn (Patrick O’Connor) runs into them in the Bay and invites them to breakfast. Marilyn walks into Salt and requests a Bloody Mary when they decline.
Logan arrives with John and Irene when Mackenzie informs him of his patient’s whereabouts. Marilyn, on the other hand, is adamant that she does not need to return to the hospital.
The vegetarian woman then enters the Diner and demands that Irene make her a beef burger…
