Home and Away spoilers: Mackenzie shocks Logan by inviting his ex to move in with them

Logan (Harley Bonner) was recently taken aback when his ex-girlfriend, Neve (Sophie Bloom), unexpectedly arrived up. Logan must face the idea that Neve isn’t dead as he assumed – but very much alive, and still in love with him – after claiming to have been looking for him since deserting the army in her role as a physician but being compelled to remain underground.

Logan is under pressure to tell Mackenzie (Emily Weir) the truth after Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) witnessed the couple kissing on the Pier and got Dean (Patrick O’Connor) involved. In Salt, Dean strikes up a conversation with Neve, and while she is uninterested, her ears perk up when Dean mentions Mackenzie, the bar manager – and Logan’s girlfriend.

Neve suddenly realizes that kissing Logan was a mistake and decides to leave. Logan, on the other hand, begs her to stay, and when she refuses, he threatens to inform the Department of Defense of her whereabouts, resulting in her imprisonment on desertion charges. Mackenzie, on the other hand, isn’t thrilled to learn Neve will be staying.

Logan downplays the problem, but Mackenzie still sees Neve as a threat, particularly after her encounter with Ari when Mia was in town. Furthermore, she recognizes that she cannot compete with her boyfriend, a medically accomplished military hero. Logan becomes enraged when he realizes Neve has run away and pursues her. What is her boyfriend’s motivation for pursuing another woman?

Neve later apologises to Mackenzie for the mix-up and kiss. Mackenzie is incensed – what kind of kiss?!

When she tells Bella (Courtney Miller) about it later, she says she needs to keep control of the situation. Mackenzie reveals her plan to keep a watch on everyone when Logan and Neve return to the apartment — why doesn’t Neve move in with them?
