Fans of Home and Away should anticipate a lot of drama when Irene finds out her decision next week.
Irene is supported by Harper, Dana, and John throughout her sentencing hearing. Irene is shocked at first when the prosecution asks for the maximum punishment of seven years to be imposed.
Irene’s attorney quickly steps in to ask that Irene be given the opportunity to make a statement, for which she is completely unprepared. Irene justifies her decision to breach the law by speaking from the heart.

Mack questions Tane about his position with Felicity at Salt. But he’s adamant that their union is no more. Felicity begs for a second chance when the estranged couple finally gets together, but Tane ends their marriage permanently.
Felicity stupidly thinks her husband might be moving back in when Tane stops by the house the following day to pick up a few things, but Tane gives her a reality check by telling her they’re done and canceling their land purchase in New Zealand.
After witnessing Mackenzie giving Tane the house keys, Felicity loses it and lashes out at her business partner. However, Felicity feels emotionally hurt when Mackenzie lashes out, saying that Tane’s departure was entirely her responsibility.
Leah is having terrifying nightmares about her experience with Vita Nova across the bay. She phones the cops because she thinks there are noises outside. Rose shows right away that there is no threat upon arriving.
Leah brushes it off as a mistake on her part, but the next day at the Coffee Cart she’s short with Rose when she suggests getting further help. When Justin returns home from the hospital, he sends Theo to a jeweller in Yabbie Creek to pick out an engagement ring for Leah.
When Theo returns with Rose, Leah is clearly rattled by her presence, and she again snaps when Rose tries to enquire about her wellbeing. At a romantic dinner at Salt later on, Justin surprises his fiancée with the ring and the couple are happier than ever.
That night however, Leah is again haunted by vivid nightmares of their kidnap and Justin’s subsequent health crisis. When Justin wakes, he notices she’s taken off her ring, but Leah lies that everything’s ok.
When he gets a moment alone with Alf, Justin confides his fears that Leah is having second thought about their wedding. Alf counsels Justin over his fears about Leah, insisting there is doubt in his mind that Leah wants to marry him.
Leah quickly reassures her spouse that her mental state is due to her worry over the wedding preparations and making everything perfect after Alf later reveals the truth to her. Justin accepts the explanation, but Leah rushes to Bree in a panic, pleading with her friend for assistance.
Leah begs Bree to give her anything to help her sleep as she tells her about her nightmares. Bree consents to write a prescription, but as soon as she brings up treatment, Leah loses her cool and leaves. She lies about her whereabouts once more when she runs into Justin
