Previously, viewers witnessed blow after blow in Home and Away, when reports of the loss of Mason Morgan in the season finale was quickly followed by the passing of Ryan's Robbo ' Shaw after such a major car accident. There's good news, however, that Alf will marry his long-standing love Martha at a Summer Bay wedding that will help to raise the spirits of the city of tribulation.
The love story started again back in March 2019, when after learning of the shocking kidnapping that left Willow fighting for her life, Alf called Martha. After, when Martha appeared in the Bay, he was taken aback, but they soon enjoyed spending time together and supposed to be going off on a trip.
Both remained at their respective homes after both returned, but after a while staying apart for several hours, it became too stressful and Alf stated that Martha will move in. Following the news of the loss of Mason and Robbo, Alf and Martha are sitting watching a vigil held on the beach by the locals when Alf proposes her to marry him.
When she claims he clearly doesn't understand how difficult a life of marriage is before he goes away, his emotional expression fires back. Roo eventually realizes and speaks to each of her parents about the tension knowing that Martha is not convinced if Alf actually meant it, as he might have been full of emotion during the vigil. Yet Alf tells her later that for months he had been worrying about it and asks her again. Martha said Yes this time.
Some leaked pics showed that they were excited about the marriage and both were looking great. Fans will see them getting married soon. A pic showed a kissing scene between them.
