Home and Away reunion sends fans wild: ‘Great news!’

A Summer Bay reunion had fans wildly speculating about the return of a much-loved character.

The stars of Summer Bay graced the red carpet for the Channel Seven Upfronts but it was a Home and Away reunion pic that sent fans of the show wild, speculating the return of a much-loved character.

The social media pages for the popular soap uploaded a happy snap of the stars, including Matt Evans who plays Theo, Kyle Schilling who plays Mali, Adam Rowland who plays Remi, Kirsty Marillier who plays Rose, Jessica Redmayne who plays Harper, Ada Nicodemou who plays Leah, and James Stewart who plays Justin.

Fans went crazy, though, when Stephen Peacocke, who played Darryl “Brax” Braxton, made an unexpected cameo. Some took this as a sign that the celebrity will return to Summer Bay.

In the picture with Matt, Adam, Kirsty, and Jessica—all of whom are more recent cast members—Stephen made a playful photobomb appearance.

Additionally, Home and Away revealed that a new season would premiere in 2024.

Bring back Brax!’

Fans flooded the comments to beg Stephen’s character Brax to return.

Brax departed Summer Bay in June 2015, the last of three Braxton brothers to depart the show. His exit saw the car transferring him to jail run off the road and plunge into a lake, leaving the storyline open for his return. Brax then returned to Summer Bay months later, with his final storyline playing out in mid-2016, where he’s reunited with Ricky and his son.

Stephen’s cameo in the photo left fans reminiscing on the good old days.

“I’d tune in just for Brax!! Take me back to the river boys days!” one fan commented.

“What a shame I was hoping this was spoiler that Steve might make a cameo return next year!” another said.

“Bring back Brax 🙏🏻,” another person begged.

“If brax is back, so am I!!,” another said.
