There have been hints on Home and Away that Bella Nixon and Summer Bay newbie Nikau Parata might begin dating.
In Wednesday’s show on Channel 7 in Australia (March 11), Bella (Courtney Miller) was seen becoming closer to Nikau, much to the dismay of their mutual friend Ryder Jackson.
Since Nikau had moved to Summer Bay, the three teenagers had been hanging out, but Nikau’s bond with Bella was becoming more than friendship material.
Bella discreetly attempted to keep Ryder, who was working a shift, out of the picture as she hung out with Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) at Salt. When he appeared worried about their developing relationship, she called him out for spying on them.
In addition, Ryder (Lukas Radovich) saw that Bella, in contrast to her typical competitive nature, allowed Nikau to defeat her in a game of pool.
Ultimately, Ryder asked Bella why she was making out with Nikau and said that she was relying on him for support during a trying moment.
Bella continues to avoid going to her counselling sessions because she finds it difficult to talk about the horrible events in her past. She made pledges to her brother Colby Thorne (Tim Franklin) that she would give counselling a serious effort, but this is the reality.
When Ryder questioned the troubled girl, she denied any connection between this and her newfound interest in Nikau, but he was still concerned about his friend.
Overly cautious Additionally, Ryder attempted to caution Nikau about approaching Bella by pointing out that she is not like other girls. But may Ryder be about to reveal something that Bella wouldn’t want him to know, stepping over the line?
