Congratulations to Bob Morley and Eliza Taylor, who have received a tiny bundle of joy into their lives!
The ecstatic new parents announced the birth of their first child on Sunday.
“Though sleep is well and truly a thing of the past, we could not be happier ?” Eliza said alongside a cute photo of the infant on Instagram.
In February 2022, Bob and Eliza announced their pregnancy. The couple shared a beautiful snapshot of matching “Papa Bear” and “Mama Bear” slippers on Instagram, along with a little pair of “Baby Bear” booties off to the side.
Bob wrote, “Gearing up for the best roles ever.” “We can’t wait to fill those big shoes!”
“Our route to pregnancy was not always smooth sailing,” Eliza said on her own profile. “But we are ecstatic to announce our little bundle is officially on the way.”
Eliza announced during a Unity Days press conference in 2020 that she had had a miscarriage with a sorrowful heart.
Bob placed some permanent ink to his arm, portraying a father penguin and his baby, as an homage to the loss.
“I got this tattoo during a turning point in my life,” he wrote on Instagram. “Things don’t always work out as planned, but the lessons learned have made me a better human.”
While both Bob and Eliza began their playing careers on the soap opera scene, with the former also appearing in Home & Away, it wasn’t until they were cast in the sci-fi serial The 100 that they met and fell in love.
The performers have remained tight-lipped about their connection, and it’s unclear when they first met. Fans, on the other hand, were overjoyed when they unexpectedly disclosed they had married in 2019.
Eliza posted on Twitter, “Recently I married my closest friend and soulmate @WildpipM.”
“We are overjoyed, and we respectfully request that you keep your comments civil and respectful of our privacy at this time.”
The former star of Home & Away also took to social media to mark the occasion.
“This is something we both adore and are overjoyed about,” Bob wrote. “Please remember to treat one another with respect and kindness.”
During an interview with extratv, Eliza assured followers that marrying Bob was the “greatest decision (she’s) ever made,” despite the fact that they stay tight-lipped about the relationship.
“I’m overjoyed,” she said.
