He’s back! Lincoln Younes’ shock return

Recent Home and Away actor Lincoln Younes has gone from strength to strength throughout his career on the Stateside after leaving the dazzling lights of Hollywood behind the sandy beaches of Summer Bay.

The 28-year-old was involved in a string of local productions after quitting the long-running soap in 2014 before making the move overseas and nabbing roles in US productions such as working with Eva Longoria at Grand Hotel.

Ironically, Lincoln secured a prized part in The Lost Boys rebooting before the coronavirus epidemic and its sanctions brought a debilitating stop on Hollywood’s TV and film industry.

“Back home, finally …what a year. Australia, I’ve missed you x,” Lincoln Younes (pictured) captioned this photo.

And now the actor, who played Casey Braxton on Home and Away, appears to have come back home to wait for the pandemic.

This week, Lincoln posted to his Instagram posting a snapshot of himself at an Australian beach and captioned the shot, “Back home, finally … what a year. I missed you back, Australia.

The ex-Home and Away co-stars of the recent River Boy were quick to weigh in the comments on Lincoln’s comeback.

“Yesss bro!! Finally back. Soak. It. In!” Todd Lasance excitedly wrote while Lisa Gormley added, “Oh babe. Goood.”

Even Rebecca Breeds chimed in, commenting: “Wonderful. Nourish your spirit! Meanwhile, after being spotted shooting new Home and Away scenes, Lincoln’s on-screen pal, Dan Ewing, recently made headlines, but Lincoln did not suggest that he would not be open to returning to the show.

Indeed, as recently as August 2019, Lincoln admitted that he was keen to leave Casey’s role in the past – particularly since his character was killed off.

“This part of my life has been such a great chapter for me, that I know you shouldn’t go back to stuff and try and replicate the moment,”  he said.

“So, for me, I got everything I could ever have wished for out of it and the chapter is over.”

But in his home country, he didn’t rule out any acting roles.

“I’d love to return to Australia to do television and film if the chance existed. I love to work home.’
