Fans of EMMERDALE were inconsolable on Thursday night as Mackenzie Boyd had an extramarital affair behind Charity Dingle’s back. However, viewers appear to believe Belle Dingle might be the subject.
The relationship between Lawrence Robb’s character Mackenzie Boyd and Emma Atkins’ Charity Dingle has been strained lately, especially after the pub owner experienced an ectopic pregnancy that resulted in a miscarriage. However, once Mackenzie ultimately cheated on Charity in Thursday night’s ITV episode, things might be over forever.
Mackenzie tried to cheer up his girlfriend by bringing her on a day trip while concealing his genuine feelings for her.
He believed it would be a wonderful idea for the pair to attend the retreat organized by Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper).
However, things didn’t go as planned since they got into a heated argument and Charity appeared to call the date off.
When Mackenzie suggested they try for another child, the couple appeared to butt heads.
The tavern owner, however, rejected the notion and suggested that they adopt instead.
The popular Dingle player, though, was having none of it and yelled that he should be with a woman who could bear him a child.
Charity exploded when Mackenzie told her about their retreat, saying, “No, what was going through your thoughts when you scheduled this?”
Belle stepped forward to speak up for Mack, saying, “He was trying to do something incredibly wonderful for you.”
Before Belle and Mack persuaded her otherwise, Charity yelled, “And he’s failed badly.”
Later, Charity exploded, “Let me tell this to you definitively, yeah.” “You won’t become a father with me if you ever want to.
“You will thus need to find someone else if you are that desperate to become a parent.
“Okay, you can go now. You are now free to go and spread your seed, Charity. I have no doubt that someone is searching desperately for it.”
An angry Mackenzie answered, “I think I’ve got that,” and then turned and walked away.
Later, he ran across Belle and Moira Barton (Natalie J. Robb), with whom he spoke about his altercation with Charity.
This was the last time anyone saw Mackenzie before he found himself in bed with a different woman.
At the very end of the episode, a distraught Charity made an attempt to phone Mackenzie and apologize.
He reached for his phone, but a woman’s hand could be seen hurling it to the ground.
Mackenzie merely grinned and said, “Cheeky.”
Will Mackenzie finally fulfill his desire to have children, but if it happens with Belle, it might wind up dividing the entire Dingle family.
Many fans who have shared their thoughts on social media believe Mack and Belle ended up having sex.
As much as I detest Al and what he and Chas have been up to behind Paddy’s back, if it turns out that Belle was the one with Mack, that just makes her worse, according to Hasan Hussain.
“After viewing the last scene it reminded me of how Belle was the one who established the itinerary for Mack and Charity. Maybe she’s the one he was with,” he later continued.
“My guess is Belle or Chloe with foolish Mack,” remarked Michelle Jone in reference to Emmerdale.
“God alone knows with whom Mack has cheated. Most likely Chloe, as we actually got to see her tonight. Belle better not be it now that she’s just explained to Chas how horrible infidelity is “Tweeted Jess (sic)
Please, Aggie begged, “don’t let that be Belle.”
