There was a lot of drama but not much happiness on Christmas Day in Emmerdale, with a shocking shooting (is Harry dead?!) and an affair revealed. What can we expect on Boxing Day, though?
Certainty dictates that things won’t get much happier.
What happened in Christmas Day Emmerdale?
Here’s a recap of the episode from Festive Day. Mack’s day on earth appeared to be coming to an end because Harry, also known as Damon, was determined to kill him.
Charity and Chas saw Chloe frog-marching to her car as her father, who was enraged that she had effectively freed Mack, pursued her back to the village.
Chas sensed that Chloe was also in danger from Harry and recognized him as the man who had abducted her. She and Charity then followed them.
They were shown to Mack’s detention area.
Charity and Chas showed up while Harry was giving Mack the seven shades of sherry. After a fight broke out, Charity shot Harry by mistake.
As Moira strolled in on Tracy and Caleb, who were eager to see each other, they shared a passionate kiss at Cain and Moira’s house.
When Gus spent the big day with his family, Marlon lost his cool and eventually recovered his Christmas spirit. Gus, however, watched wistfully as the clan sat around the table, glowing with love for one another. Was he seeing a family that could give baby Ivy something he just can’t?
What happens in Emmerdale on Boxing Day?
Now that Harry’s fate is known, Charity, Chloe, and Mack will all be greatly impacted by the result. It’s safe to say that having him dead would be better for them all in some ways.
And Tracy tries to downplay what she saw, but Moira is wiser than that and says, “Do not play me for a fool.” Moira also wants answers from Caleb and Tracy. Because she is the one who is most aware of cheating. Hypocrite, huh?
Tensions are building and are about to explode in the village where Gus and Ivy are still staying with Marlon and Rhona. Marlon quite rightly notes that things cannot go on as they are, but does he have a different vision for what would be best for his wife and her ex?
