In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk and other media outlets, Ellie expressed her joy at Adam Thomas’ participation in the tournament.
She said: “Of course we know we’re doing it, but we don’t know who else is doing it. So when I found out Adam was doing it, I was really pleased because I was like, ‘Finally I don’t feel like I am going to be on my own.
“So when I learned, I was so happy.”
Tonight, people like Angela Scanlon, Nigel Harman, and Zara McDermott will be dancing alongside Ellie and Adam.
Fans will also get to see the stars performing with their pro dance partners for the first time.
The competitors won’t be eliminated this weekend, but starting on next Saturday, they’ll have to compete to stay in the game.

According to Ladbrokes, Bobby Brazier will prevail in the 2023 series, closely followed by Angela Scanlon and Layton Williams.

Les Dennis and Krishnan Guru-Murthy are the other underdogs in the race, with odds of victory of 40/1 and 33/1, respectively.

The former soap star said, when asked if she was concerned about the judges’ comments, “I think it pushes you so you think, ‘Next week I need to focus on this.’”
