The relationship between Rainie Branning and Stuart Highway in EastEnders is undoubtedly one of the best the soap has seen in quite a while, and there could all right be wedding bells future for the odd couple as a result, as Stu makes an enormous decision within the coming episodes. Stuart talks to Callum (Tony Clay) and, after doing so, he is motivated to propose to Rainie, and thus sets out to plan an incredibly elaborate proposal.
And thus, he sets about organizing a proposal. Rainie’s answer to the big question remains to be to seen, but chatting with Inside Soap actress Tanya Franks said: ‘Well, what it’ll come right down to for Rainie is accepting that somebody does love her which Stuart’s really trying to prove his worth and do the proper thing by her,” the actress explained.’
It’s not the first time that Stuart has attempted to propose to Rainie — and his first attempt led to disaster when Rainie fumed at him ahead of everyone at Walford East.
Stuart’s little question determined to point out Rainie how much he loves her, so it’ll be interesting to see how she responds to his proposal this time.
Talking about what a possible Stuart and Rainie wedding would appear as if Tanya said: ‘Well, the writers always surprise me with what they manage to seek out for Rainie and Stuart so I’m unsure if I can even imagine what they could also have up their sleeves.
‘You could say it might be completely traditional. On the other hand, it might be something outlandish.’
