To Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ) and Rainie Branning (Tanya Franks), there could be wedding bells in the future when the much-liked couple is considering marriage after Stuart has proposed. But in EastEnders, does his heartbreak Rainie self-loathing ready for a massive move like marriage? After a relapse, the former drug addict and a prostitute are in a far better place, and with Stuart at her side, she's got a job, a loving partner, and the stability she's always wanted.
Yet memories of her past are never far away, and she is shaken to the core as she comes face-to-face with an old client of hers and reminding her of its early life, making her feel guilty and sick to the stomach. Even not a guy who has had the best pasts, Stuart cares about Rainie and basic understanding. He takes her out for lunch to cheer her up, and she is thankful, but when Mick and Linda (Danny Dyer and Kellie Bright) come in for lunch, the entire atmosphere is agitated. Linda is quickly snipping back to belittle Rainie and Rainie, leading to a tense conversation.
