Gray Atkins (Toby-Alexander Smith) has again resorted to violent and heinous attacks on Chantelle’s wife in EastEnders as a result of all stress she’s been under recently, but could her dad Mitch Baker (Roger Griffiths)—who’s long been suspected of Gray — be set to uncover the truth? With a huge amount of tension in the Atkins household, Chantelle does her best to hide her wounds from Gray and therefore begins her new job at the call center. In the meantime, Gray is correcting the situation with Whitney (Shona McGarty) and is consequently trying to find something that would convict Leo (Tom Wells).
However, later in the week, he discovered the extent of the injuries he had inflicted on Chantelle, and, as a result, he felt fatal. He promises her that this is never going to happen again, but Chantelle just stays cold with him.
As she continues to work, Kheerat comments on how impressed she is about her work ethic, and Mitch gives her a helping hand as she struggles to maintain a balance between home and work life. He discovers Gray’s therapy card later, however, and Chantelle panics as a result. Will she reveal everything to her dad? Mitch has long had his suspicions about Gray — which were made all the more evident during last year’s vow of renewal — so he might have put two and two together.
