EastEnders Shirley return ‘rumbled’ by fans in killer twist as The Six witness murder

EastEnders fans are certain Shirley Carter will make her epic return to the BBC soap on Christmas Day as they speculate she could be responsible for the murder in The Vic

Shirley’s return on Christmas Day, according to EastEnders supporters, will result in the demise of son Dean Wicks.

Shirley has been missing since December 2022, when she reportedly departed Albert Square after her son Mick Carter’s (Danny Dyer) demise. Ever since Dean (portrayed by Matt Di Angelo) returned to Walford for Halloween, Shirley (Linda Henry) has been begged by ardent admirers to return.

Viewers consider the impending demise to be an ideal circumstance for Shirley’s return. A minimum of one unidentified male will perish on Christmas Day in The Queen Vic. The body was discovered flanked by six matriarchs of Walford, presently referred to as “The Six,” one of whom was suspected of being the murderer.

The BBC soap appeared to disclose the identities of the seven male victims earlier this month. Dean is among these individuals, who have all established antagonistic relationships with at least one of The Six: Jack Branning (portrayed by Scott Masden), Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry), Rocky Cotton (Brain Conley), Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara), Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters), and Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden).

Shirley’s reappearance on Christmas Day will, according to EastEnders supporters, lead to Dean Wicks’s demise.

Shirley has been alleged to have vanished from Albert Square subsequent to the passing of her son Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) in December 2022. Since Dean (portrayed by Matt Di Angelo) returned to Walford for Halloween, ardent devotees have pleaded with Shirley (Linda Henry) to return.

Shirley’s return is regarded by the audience as an optimal circumstance due to the impending demise. On Christmas Day, at least one unidentified male will succumb in The Queen Vic. Six matriarchs of Walford, currently known as “The Six,” were observed beside the body; one of them was believed to be the assassin.

Earlier this month, the BBC drama appeared to reveal the identities of the seven male victims. Dean is included in this group of individuals, all of whom have developed antagonistic relationships with at least one of The Six: Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry), Jack Branning (Scott Masden), Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara), Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters), and Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden).

One claimed: “Dean will be the body on Christmas Day and the camera will pan around and Shirley will have killed him.” A second added: “Oh I want Shirley to come back to kill Dean and maybe that’s why they screamed in the six reveal cause they saw Shirley.”

Another chipped in: “Hey, what if the dead body is Dean and the killer is Shirley ??” Someone else theorised: “I’m calling it – Phil calls Shirley and tells her what’s been happening and she comes back and kills Dean after catching him attacking Linda.”

A sixth individual reiterated, “The six are witnesses to Body Dean, the murderer Shirley.” Shirley’s return has not yet been verified; however, Chris Clenshaw, executive producer of EastEnders, has confirmed that she will return.
