EastEnders’ Frankie Lewis set for powerful exit plot as Rose Ayling-Ellis quits BBC soap

As her character Frankie Lewis bids farewell to the soap opera, EASTENDERS actor Rose Ayling-Ellis has revealed she will be leaving Walford behind.

In the two years that Frankie Lewis (Rose Ayling-Ellis) has lived in Walford, she has grown to be one of the show’s most adored characters. However, because the actress has announced her desire to leave for new possibilities, viewers of the BBC serial will have to say goodbye to Mick Carter’s (Danny Dyer) daughter.

Being EastEnders’ first regular deaf actress has been quite unique, Rose said in regards to her experience on the program.

“I have enjoyed my time on the show, and playing Frankie has been a blast, but it feels like the appropriate time to move on, and I am eager and prepared for new challenges.

“I will always cherish my time on the show and all the fantastic individuals I’ve worked with, who have helped me develop as an actor over the past two years and given me so many incredible experiences.

“I am looking forward to audiences seeing Frankie’s leave storyline; I think it’s a really important one that will resonate with many people,” the author said.

The show’s executive producer, Chris Clenshaw, continued: “Rose has always been a tremendous asset to EastEnders; not only as a fantastic actor, but also as a fantastic company member. I have only had the pleasure to work with her for a short period.

“Rose has distinguished herself in significant narratives as a member of the Carter family, including learning she is Mick Carter’s daughter as a result of child abuse, and she will soon take on the significant problem spotlighting women’s safety on the streets.

Rose is a great trailblazer, and we at EastEnders are so proud of everything she has accomplished. We wish her nothing but the best.

In 2020, Rose became the first deaf actor to play a regular deaf character on the soap opera.

Until it was established that Frankie was Mick’s long-lost daughter, her sudden appearance in Walford was shrouded in mystery.

Mick and Frankie grew close once he accepted his past, which is a sweet friendship.

This fall, EastEnders viewers may watch the plot for Frankie’s departure on television.

The Strictly Come Dancing contestant and actress has already finished filming her last few scenes.

Rose’s on-screen father, Danny Dyer, will also be leaving the serial opera this year.

Will the narrative behind Frankie’s departure be linked to that of the Queen Vic’s proprietor?

Throughout her stay in Walford, Rose has addressed a number of compelling themes, and her exit narrative will be no different.

Rose and Giovanni Pernice won the Glitterball Trophy the previous year.

For Virgin Media Must-See Moment, they later won a BAFTA.

In Rose’s most recent endeavor, she led the charge for the first Barbie to be produced with hearing aids.
