Fans of Coronation Street have been waiting months for the killer Stephen Reid to be identified, but it appears that he is far from receiving justice as Jenny Connor, a bartender at Rovers Return, has been dating him.
Some viewers believe that Jenny Connor’s new friendship with the murderer might all be a part of a revenge scheme, despite the fact that it appears as though villainous Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) has been pulling the wool over her eyes in Coronation Street.
Leo Thompkins (Joe Frost), who had criticized Stephen’s money-making scheme earlier in the year, had then pushed the Canadian to his death by pushing him off a balcony.
He then murdered a couple more locals in the ITV soap opera who got in his way.
Leo and Jenny were intending to relocate to Canada at the time, but Stephen persuaded Jenny that Leo had broken things off.
He’s been eying Jenny for a while, and now that they’re dating, she might be plotting something.
Fans soon expressed their disbelief over the relationship on social media, although some believed Jenny would ultimately come out on top.
“Imagine a plot twist where Jenny is dating Stephen secretly knowing about his murders so is ‘dating’ him,” wrote Twitter user @TwellyWatcher. “Or even better, she’s the one to take him out and kill him.”
@RossG_kiernan enquired: “Does Jenny know or at least suspect something in regards to Stephen #Corrie.”

Fans have been concerned about Jenny ever since she started seeing Stephen, and the two are now a couple.
The two were shown joyfully holding hands in Friday’s episode, and Jenny even offered that they take a trip together.
She even requested Stephen move into her B&B room to heighten the horror.
She inquired, “Can Tim (Metcalfe, Joe Duttine) just chuck you out?” Stpethen said, “Show me where it says he can’t.”
You could always move in here if you’re desperate, she said, “but look, this might be the biggest mistake we’ve ever made.”
Jenny clarified, “It’s only until you find somewhere.
