Sinister Ray has Kevin and Abi over a barrel having discovered that he has evidence that ruins their fake alibi – and that Kevin is forced to sell the workshop to the crook.

He knew she was guilty, so I guess it was his way of trying to woo her and do something for her. He wasn't bothered too much about Ray, as he doesn't know his reputation.
He's afraid now, he's looking at a prison sentence. He did so for her to make sure she didn't end up going back to prison, but in doing so he put his own life at risk and risks leaving Jack with no dad around to take care of him.
Kevin's first question as Ray wants to purchase the garage is how he's going to break the news to Tyrone who owns 30 per cent and he figured he'd have a hard job convincing Tyrone as he's got a young family too so it's impacting other people.
It's not a decision that he can take lightly.
For Kevin to make for someone he doesn't know very well is quite a leap of faith. I'd warn him if he was my friend not to let his heart rule his head over this one, there is so much to lose.
What a muppet! But it's too late, now he's got to try and make the best out of a very bad situation.'
But Mike is confident that Kevin and Abi are doing a good pairing and might have a future. He smiled:' I think it's the way she's different from other people he's met. She is a bit feisty, knows her own mind and is the polar opposite to what Sally is in many ways.
It seems to work they bounce off each other, from the beginning there was a spark in there.
She does make him see the funnier side of life as, for example, she filmed all of his sayings. Kev wasn't always able to laugh at himself but he was compelled to see himself on a different side.
He's had a rough time and recently hasn't had a lot of fun so it's nice to play the fun side that Abi brings out, you get a glimpse of the old Kev. She makes him feel alive all over again.
I think they're a great match, I think they're bringing out each other's best and I really enjoy working with Sally Carman. I was very extremely lucky with the people I worked with on this show.
