Coronation Street bad boy Gary Windass will face a blast from the past in the coming scenes. Kelly Neelan, the daughter of the loan shark Rick Neelan, is coming back to the cobbles next week. Coronation Street spoilers have revealed that Kelly crosses paths with Asha Alahan and Summer Spellman at the cafe, where she explains that she has enrolled at Weatherfield High School. Her new connection to local teens will mean that she spends more time around Weatherfield, which brings Gary bad news.

As Gary spots Kelly at the café from away, he’s upset to see her, so he’s worried about his next step. ITV soap viewers will know that Gary killed Rick in self-defense last year and buried his body. Kelly later comes to the cobbles looking for answers about her dad’s whereabouts, leaving Gary terrified as she threatened to get close to the truth. Gary finally managed to get rid of the suspicious school girl, but his nightmare appears to be far from over. Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Coronation Street’s source said, “Gary has tried to put his recent dodgy past behind him to start again with Maria and be a decent man.” But his previous misdeeds have a habit of coming back to haunt him.
