As part of a shake-up, ITV withdrew the soap Coronation Street from its lineup.

Fans of the ITV soap opera Coronation Street will be upset to find that this Friday’s final episode won’t be accessible to stream.

On ITV this Friday, Coronation Street will no longer be on the schedule.

Fans of the soap opera will have to wait another week without seeing the most recent episode, which usually airs at 8 p.m. on Friday.

Fortunately, the wait won’t be too long because the soap opera will return on Monday, October 2 during its regular weekday time slot.

Due to the Rugby World Cup, which will be broadcast on ITV from 7:30 pm to 10:25 pm, Corrie has been canceled.

This means that Emmerdale fans are in fortunate because the popular soap will air as usual at 7 p.m. and end just before the game begins.

Because an additional episode of Coronation Street aired on Tuesday, fans haven’t been left out.

The show typically airs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, thus the Tuesday episode makes up for Friday’s postponement and ensures that viewers are all current.

Some people are still not pleased with the scheduling adjustment, though.

“Is the rugby on again on Friday hence the Tuesday episode of Corrie?” tweeted Twitter user @Boppity_Boo34. One supporter said, “Yeah, it’s some s***ty sport thing. #Corrie.”

Fridays don’t feel the same without a new episode of Corrie, said @a11ebx.

Corrie airing on Tuesday rather than Friday “feels weird,” wrote @matt_johnson_89.

@daisysmidgeley complained, “I really can’t get into the swing of corrie being on mon-wed, it feels like it should be friday night now, but NO I have two more days of work.”
Putting Corrie against the #GBBO was a foolish idea, fumed @MattZeeMiller. I’ll repeat it the following week as well! While the #RugbyWorldCup is still on Friday nights, it could have easily been Thursday at 7 p.m. Emmerdale and 8 p.m. Corrie. Seems itv harming live linear audience more!” (sic)

On Wednesday’s episode, Jenny Connor (played by Sally Ann Matthews), said goodbye to the Rovers Return pub as it closed its doors in a heartbreaking scene.

Sean Tully (Antony Cotton) made the decision to try to lighten the situation by recommending one last shot of the workers collectively when the famous bar was boarded up.
