She's one of the longest-running actors on Home And Away.
And on the eve of her 20th birthday on the soap of the Channel Seven, Ada Nicodemou admitted that there was a moment she nearly walked away from everything.
According to Woman's Day on Thursday, the actress revealed that in her early twenties she was grappling with her appearance on the popular program. In 2000, Ada started playing Leah Patterson on the popular program. Ada started on the soap shortly after wrapping up her breakout role as Katerina Ioannou on Heartbreak High.
The 42-year-old said it was hard at first to start a new and challenging dramatic role.'I was tired and I just didn't want to do a series, I just wanted a break,' confessed Ada.
She happily said, however:' Yet 20 years later, I am still here! Summer Bay sweetheart Leah has been on the series through many ups and downs with Ada telling the publication:' I think she's an intelligent, strong woman who's been through so much shit in life. The actress chose to take a summer holiday in Greece with her seven-year-old son Johnas and her millionaire boyfriend Adam
Rigby, after filming wrapped up on the show's 2019 season finale.
' What spare time you have, you're going to want to spend it with your kids, ' she said.
