6 Neighbours spoilers for next week: Mackenzie and Zara trapped in a fire

Mackenzie Hargreaves (Georgie Stone) and Zara Selwyn (Freya Van Dyke) are caught in a school fire, but who set it off?

After a betrayal from David Tanaka (Takaya Honda), Aaron Brennan (Matt Wilson) explodes with rage, Roxy Willis (Zima Anderson) makes a life-changing decision, and can Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) be forgiven?

Here are all of the Neighbours spoilers for the week of February 25th to March 4th, 2022.

Mackenzie is trapped in flames

Another strange fire at Erinsborough High School this week… Perhaps the smoke alarms at that location should be checked? The latest fire breaks out after Mackenzie confronts Zara about her clandestine kiss with Hendrix Greyson (Ben Turland), trapping the lovers in a classroom as the smoke rises.

As an emergency evacuation is called, Susan Kennedy (Jackie Woodburne) and Jane Harris (Annie Jones) are concerned for their students’ safety, but daring Hendrix risks his life to charge inside the blazing building in search of his lost fiancée. The duo has been found, and Mackenzie is on the verge of passing out. Zara claims she wasn’t the one who started the fire, so who did?

Zara has been detained

It turns out that the perpetrators are cruel girls Sadie and Aubrey, who are happy to let Zara take the fall for the horrific fire attack. To be fair, Sadie wants to speak the truth, but Aubrey appears to be the ringleader, pressuring her friend to remain silent.

None of this helps Zara’s case for being innocent, so she sends a note to Amy Greenwood (Jacinta Stapleton) and does a runner to avoid a probable jail sentence and having her life ruined before her 18th birthday. Will the truth ever come out and clear her?

Aaron’s enraged jealousy

Tensions between Aaron and David are at an all-time high, and things don’t get any better when it’s revealed that Dr. Tanaka has been talking sensitive details about his shaky marriage with his pal Dean.

Aaron’s rage isn’t calmed by the promise of a romantic holiday, and he demands that his husband cease dating Dean. While this irritates David, he agrees not to overshare and the boys attempt to tackle their problems as a pair – which lasts all of five minutes when Aaron discovers David hanging out with Dean and erupts in jealous wrath!

Roxy plots her strategy

Roxy and Kyle Canning (Chris Milligan) had a rocky start to married life: not only had the groom just completed treatment for testicular cancer when they walked down the aisle, but a wild storm ripped through their reception location, killing one of the wedding guests.

Rox takes a significant decision this week, deciding that it’s time for her and her new husband to conceive a family before another calamity strikes their relationship. This should be cause for celebration, but Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou) is worried that her niece is rushing into it. Is Auntie T correct in her concern?

On another episode of Neighbours

  • When it comes to Terese, she has a feeling something is up with her brother-in-law Glen Donnelly (Richard Huggett), who should be ecstatic when he wins a mini-break in a tournament but is curiously nervous about it. Terese has a special relationship with her recovering addict and can sense when anything is wrong, so she pledges to discover out what he’s hiding…
  • Paul is healing from his most recent health scare (the actual one, not the one he made up), but not everyone in the family is willing to forgive him. Harlow Robinson (Jemma Donovan) encourages David and Terese to pay a visit to her grandfather, but only one of them agrees to fix the damage the Robinson rogue has caused. Who among his relatives has decided to offer him a second chance?
