As his painkiller addiction worsens, Justin’s (James Stewart) behaviour has lately hit a new low, with the mechanic shop owner growing worried about Leah’s (Ada Nicodemou) connection with newcomer Stephen (Bren Foster) and retaliating by beating the guy to a pulp.
Nobody is thrilled to see Justin when he shows up at the beach where everyone is watching the cops collect the dead corpse after a hospitalised Stephen says Justin was the attacker. John (Shane Withington) orders him to go, and Justin angrily informs him that he has nothing to do with the matter.
He attempts to talk to Leah, but he refuses to accept responsibility, telling her that Stephen was becoming too close to her and that it was ripping him apart. Leah forgives him but warns him that he still has a long way to go.
Justin tries to make apologies for his misdeeds by going to the gym to meet Mia (Anna Samson), who is sceptical at first but accepts his explanation for the previous day. Tane (Ethan Browne), on the other hand, seizes the chance to draw Justin to the side and clear his throat.
He warns Justin that if he ever threatens Ziggy (Sophie Dillman), scares her, or makes her feel uncomfortable again, he will come after him.
Will Justin heed the warning or retaliate violently once more?
