According to Emmerdale spoilers for next week, Andrea’s mother, Hazel, will be visiting the village bearing some important news for Kim.
The Tate matriarch and her ex-daughter-in-law had a strong bond, especially toward the end of Andrea’s life.
However, Charles persuades Kim that holding a memorial for Millie’s lost mother is in Millie’s best interests.
Kim eventually agrees, but only because she believes Jamie will return to the hamlet as a result of the event.
Sadly for Kim, he isn’t the mysterious latecomer on his way to the service.

Kim was certainly employing dirty tricks to gain custody of Millie before Andrea died, and Hazel is well aware of this.
Andrea was furious at the prospect and resolved to battle Kim to the last end.
But now that she’s gone and Jamie is presumed dead, it appears like Kim got what she wanted.
That is until Hazel enters her life.
When Hazel’s car pulls up on Main Street, Kim believes Jamie is going to return and answer her prayers.
When Kim realizes it’s Hazel, she’s not impressed.
Goodbye Millie
Millie is now an orphan in the eyes of the entire world, and Hazel is desperate to protect her.
When Kim claims that Jamie is still alive, she is taken aback and wonders if the twisted Tate is right in her mind.
In any case, Millie is the focus of her attention, as she takes the decision to join Hazel and start a new life away from the horrors of Emmerdale.
Kim finds it difficult to let go, but she reluctantly accepts Millie’s choice and begins packing her belongings.
But, in the process, Kim is forced to face her worst fear for the first time in her life.
Will she accept Jamie’s death or will she continue to hold out hope?
