Another Bachelorette alum wedding is on the way, and this time, Sam Frost’s winner, Sasha Mielczarek, will be walking down the aisle.
The 36-year-old shared the good news on Instagram, posting a photo of himself down on one knee with his now-fiancée, Carly Cottam, in an intimate moment.
Sasha wrote an homage to the event and his love for Carly to go along with the gorgeously stunning engagement photo.
“She said ‘You’ll do!’ I’m claiming it as a yes Cheers to the most beautiful, kind, and caring person I know. My best mate,” Sasha wrote in his caption.
“I love you all the world Carly and can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you! OH and good luck learning to spell my last name #cantcallmeimengaged.”
He tweeted a black and white snapshot taken after Carly said yes, along with a nice message she’d written about how glad he is to spend his life with her, a few hours later.
“Why do they call it one tree hill babe?! I bloody love ya!” he wrote.
He posted a picture with Carly saluting the camera with champagne on his Instagram story, and he captioned the moment, “Cheers ya dawgs!”
Which was followed by another cheeky photo of the couple, and Sasha commented, “Let’s get a serious photo…ok.”
Four years after breaking up with Sam, the former reality show competitor launched his relationship with Carly in December 2020.
While Sasha has kept a low profile in public, he did turn to Instagram to express his love for his new girlfriend.
He said in the caption of a selfie, “With this one, you’ll be able to spend your weekends abroad. I’m looking forward to many more.’ ‘Get around her’ and ‘bloke’s punching’ were among the hashtags he added.”
Sam and Sasha ended their relationship after 18 months together.
While they said there were no bad feelings between them, the Home and Away actress soon admitted she had been dumped in a mysterious Instagram post.
The revelation was made in a delicately worded comment on a Buzzfeed post headlined “25 Reasons People Gave For Cheating That Are, Somehow, More Disrespectful Than The Act Of Cheating.”
Sam tagged Sasha’s ex Tori May with this scathing response: “@torimay he once said Instagram must have hacked his account,” she began, “that’s why he had followed and messaged all these girls.”
