Pregnant Nicolette in danger, Sheila under threat and Sonya’s back: 6 big Neighbours spoilers

This week in Neighbours, Sheila (Colette Mann) and Nicolette (Charlotte Chimes) encounter two very different sorts of danger. Which one, though, will emerge unscathed?

And somewhere else, a familiar face appears from beyond the grave, because when is anyone truly dead in Neighbours?

Thugs are hunting Levi (Richie Morris) after he pricked the hornets’ nest, and Sheila becomes their target. When Levi and subsequently Yashvi (Olivia Junkeer) continue their ill-advised monitoring of the thugs, the thugs are informed, and they are not pleased. Sheila chooses to intervene and take matters into her own hands, giving the assailants the chance they require.

Hendrix (Benny Turland) summons Nicolette to the vineyard, concerned about Leo’s (Tim Kano) plans for Chloe (April Rose Pengilly). His scheme, however, goes horribly wrong, putting Nic and her baby in grave danger. Will they be found in time?

This week, Sonya (Eve Morey) makes a cheeky return when Toadie (Ryan Moloney) sees her in a day-dream and wonders what the vision is trying to tell him about his new relationship.

It’s getting hot at Lassiters, and you can almost always count on Amy (Jacinta Stapleton) to be involved. She is compelled to collaborate on a unique project with Ned (Ben Hall), which puts her willpower to the test.

And when Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) tries to play matchmaker in Harlow’s (Jemma Donovan) love life, he goes entirely out of character. Will he succeed as a cupid?

Here’s what to expect next in Neighbours:

It’s impossible to keep a good ghost down

Toadie is shaky after experiencing a flashback of Sonya at the nursery, and he is unable to cope. Is it a hint he shouldn’t be with Mel since the ghost of his previous relationship is still haunting him? He expresses his displeasure to Karl and Susan, his sentiments heightened by the fact that this has never happened with any previous girlfriend. Is Sonya informing him that he’s with the wrong woman from beyond the grave? Maybe she’s telling Toadie that he’s finally found the one. Toadie chooses to tell Mel the truth when Mama Susan comes to the rescue with some wise words. He informs her that he feels terrible about replacing Sonya with her, which surprises her. She tells him that she isn’t there to take his place.

Anyone who want to assist him in keeping Sonya’s memory alive. Mel and Toadie are finally making significant progress.

Baby battles

Nic’s pregnancy has had its ups and downs for Aaron and David, not least because she recently said some concerning things that led them to think she could have a nocturnal fling with their children. They realise something needs to be done following her latest ruse with the ante-natal class. They corner Nic and tell her that something needs to be done about her anxiousness; they can’t continue on like this. She is devastated and tries her hardest to convince them that she is not possessive of the kid. It’s all theirs, and they’re like a small family. She swears she’ll never do such a thing again. Can they, however, believe her?

Paul takes on the role of cupid

It’s a strange mental image of Paul as Cupid, but it’s happening, people! Paul is anxious to keep Harlow away from Brent, so he decides to do the unthinkable: he wants to matchmake. When he realises that giving her a greater role at the hotel isn’t keeping her occupied, he begins to push her closer to new boy Jesse. And, perhaps most surprisingly, Harlow is receptive to her grandfather arranging a date for her. She seemed to have turned a corner, content in her new work and looking forwards to dating. But things are seldom so straightforward; instead, she is hatching her own cunning scheme.

Ned becomes a little nekkid

Roxy tries to come up with a way to get the Shorts and Briefs festival off the ground in order to make herself seem good at work. Many a Neighbours fan will be grateful for her proposal, which is to have Ned feature in it and expose some flesh. Roxy proposes that Amy be included in it as well, which she agrees to. However, as they begin filming, it becomes obvious that they are starring in their own version of Too Hot To Handle, since Amy is about to break all the rules with Ned. She’s so agitated that she’s on the verge of bursting. Ned notices this and, delighted by her embarrassment, taunts her to make things worse. Will she be able to keep her impulses in check?

Nicolette, who is pregnant, and her baby are caught in a terrifying fall

Leo is hard at work on his strategy, and when he has Chloe alone, he eventually gets her to acknowledge that things aren’t quite right between her and Nicolette. It’s soothing to his ears, and he realises he’s onto something. Hendrix is on to him as well, but Leo notices and sends him to lunch to allow him and Chloe some alone time. This raises a slew of further red lights for Hendrix, who phones Nic and persuades her to visit the property. He has no idea that his request puts her and her child in grave risk. Nic comes to the spot anticipating a romantic rendezvous with her boyfriend, but Leo has other plans and drags Chloe away for a meeting. Nic is left to her own devices in the vineyard, but she experiences a horrible fall that puts her and her baby in grave danger.

Sheila is the target of Levi thugs

Kyle is concerned for his cousin’s safety following his rash choice to pursue his assailants alone. He makes Levi swear to leave Mitch and Nelson alone, and while Levi complies, none of them expected Yashvi’s mistaken desire to assist them to get the better of them. She goes out to spy on the assailants, but she has no idea that they have figured out what she’s up to.

This sets in motion a massive sequence of events. She attempts to persuade Levi to go after them again, but this causes him to have a panic attack. After getting tired of her snooping, Mitch and Nelson decide to go after Levi in a different way — Sheila confronts him after learning what they’re up to, and they grab the chance…

Scenes will begin airing on Channel 5 on Monday, July 19th.
