Toadie (Ryan Moloney) was rocked hard by Melanie’s (Lucinda Cowden) previous revelations in more ways than one. His love life is crumbling around him, and his business in Neighbours is as well.
The truth about Melanie’s prior love life is now out in the open, and it’s starting to cause problems. Toadie’s formerly faithful customers begin to abandon him as word gets out about her shady history with her old boss.
Toadie is heartbroken, but he’s stuck; he doesn’t want to abandon his fiancée, but he needs to keep his practice. He genuinely wants to help her, but he’s well aware that she’s presently costing him his job.
But suddenly Toadie’s old coworker and love interest Rose Walker reappears, providing unexpected assistance. She wants to help him salvage his legal company after assisting him with the Film Festival.
Is she a little too eager to assist him? This throws a wrench in Mel’s plans, as she desperately tries to keep her guy. Has she attracted a foe? Toadie attempts to convince Mel that Rose is simply being friendly, but he has no idea what she’s up to.
To put it another way, Mel is correct to be concerned. Rose has come to show Toadie that he can outperform Melanie. She takes use of the festival project to spend more time with him, get under his skin, and put herself in the middle of him and his girlfriend. Melanie’s nose is messed up, and Toadie is caught in the crossfire. It’s up to him to make a choice, but who will he choose?
